Woman Made Well
Comparison Is The Thief Of Joy
Welcome back to Woman Made Well! Today, we’re tackling a topic that so many of us struggle with, parental confidence and how to stop comparing ourselves to others. As new moms, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the endless advice, opinions, and highlight reels we see online, which can leave us questioning our own parenting decisions.
In this episode, I dive into why we feel the need to compare ourselves to others and how that can impact our confidence and well-being as mothers. I’ll share my own personal experiences, moments when I felt inadequate and caught in the comparison trap and how I worked through those feelings to regain trust in myself.
You'll hear practical tips on how to navigate the rough waves of comparison during your transition into motherhood, including the importance of identifying your personal strengths and learning to be okay with not excelling at everything. Because the truth is, focusing on what you do have and what you bring to your family is what truly matters.
If this episode resonates with you, I encourage you to share it with another mom who might need to hear this. Don’t forget to leave a rating and review, it helps grow our community of support. Connect with me on social media, I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences!
